<sub>In their travels around the region, Phéarel & Stitches observe the aurora over yonder from the Relan side, recalling the strange clouds above the mountains months prior and unknowing of the Iadlish roots of the current phenomenon.


Days later, in an unexpected chance meeting Stitches tentatively catches up with an old friend he hasn't spoken with for nearly a year. Though close by, Phéarel remains preoccupied and unaware at the moment that the acquaintance with Stitches was none other than the illusionist she fought.

For his own and others' reasons Ethaniel had somehow slipped northward once again, meanwhile carrying a small gift as repayment for whenever he'd cross paths with certain folks. Keenly aware of his friend's misdeeds and the part he himself unwittingly played amongst those misunderstandings, Stitches nevertheless accepted the gesture.</sub>
